It's sad and terrifying when the wrong people get promoted and climb the promotion ladder just because they are two-faced manipulators who are experts at apple-polishing.

What’s even worse is when management fails to consider gathering peer feedback to see what these individuals are actually like as colleagues. If leadership only knew what was being said behind the scenes.
