Need to send a legal notice to my previous employer

I am looking for a lawyer (preferably based out of Chennai, as my previous employer was based out of Chennai). The issue is the company is claiming to deduct Variable pay already paid in month of Feb 2026 (for the performance assessment for the work carried out in 2025) in my FnF settlement in July. They are showing an email with policy which mentions additional payouts done in Feb will be recovered if resigned before June 30, 2026. My LWD was on July 14th and the resignation acceptance was on July 2nd (date of resignation - 8th May). These clauses were not part of my original contract.

I checked AI and all, I don't see this as a valid recovery clause under the new rules, and I believe I have a strong case to push back on this policy. Now need advice from genuine lawyers.
