Seat Comfort

I’m looking at a Grand Highlander Hybrid Max to replace our Kia Telluride. Test drove a LXE last night and was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was in that trim level.

My biggest complaint with the Telluride (outside of reliability) is the comfort of the seats. They are too hard. Especially for long trips. We were in it for 2 hours yesterday and my but hurt.

I am hoping for this vehicle to last 10 years or more so I want a good seat. The LXE was comfortable but I was slightly worried with the width. What is everyone’s experience with the Platinum seats? Are they comfortable on long trips? I am disappointed that the max comes with Suede. Any opinion on that?
