Refund Delay?

I received an email from United that I would be receiving a full refund for my trip ($1100) and I have not received anything yet. In the email they sent me it said the refund posted date was July 12th and to wait a few business days. It’s been 5 and more than 7 days since that July 12th date. I’m freaking out because they’ve been nothing but a headache to deal with and the ticket number pulls up no record of a refund request when I check the status. Does anyone have any ideas or know if I’m being impatient? I‘m genuinely terrified I’m not going to get any money back and really need it back.
