Job offer fell through after company kept messing up my visa processing. 30 days left. Mechanical Engineer
I was offered a really good job with an established mnc in the oil and gas sector. I accepted because the terms and salary were very good. The company's PRO however kept messing up my work permit application. it would get rejected in the initial step and he would tell me it was "immigration rejection". I went to the ministry of labour and to immigration multiple times and they both confirmed that it was an initial rejection by MOHRE. I tried speaking to the hiring manager to explain the issue to him, but he told me they cannot outsource my application to a typing center or an external PRO. Then a short while later, the company called me and said that my employment was no longer an option as the company has a policy to only try 3 times to get a work permit and visa for any applicant.
Now I'm absolutely stuck, I have no leads and nothing else lined up and i have about 30 days to figure something out. I have a BSc in mechanical engineering, I've worked about 1 year with a MEP and HVAC company, and I have 2 internships (one in design engineering and one in MEP engineering). I'm open to any roles or advice honestly. thank you for taking the time to read my long story.
TLDR; company's PRO kept messing up work permit applications and told me it was "immigration rejection". The company withdrew the employment offer despite me asking to let an external pro or typing center handle the application. now I have 30 days to figure something else out.
