oblivious but only sorta kinda

Hello fellow evil autism havers. I have recently become aware of an Autism Quirk™️ of mine where in social settings, I can sometimes tell when my autism is in the way of me understanding a situation, but then still can’t move beyond the barrier lmao. This often results in situations where I’m like “I think this is what’s happening. But my brain refuses to put the pieces together. Therefore I will simply combust.” Or like. Ask what is going on. But combustion seems eviler
