# 📖 The Tea-Free Synopsis

Chen Xuyang spent seven years playing the perfect wife—only for her cheating husband to repay her with betrayal. So she does what everyone thinks she never will: she files for divorce. Convinced she'll come crawling back, the gossip mill has a field day... until Chen Xuyang shocks everyone by upgrading instead. Enter a gorgeous younger man who's hopelessly devoted to her, fiercely protective, and hiding an identity that makes her ex look painfully ordinary. Nothing stings quite like watching the woman you took for granted become someone else's greatest prize.

# ☕ My Thoughts…

Going into this, I fully expected the wealthy divorcée Chen Xuyang to chew up her much younger sponsor student, Xiao Suian, and spit him back out. Fresh off divorcing her cheating, gold-digging husband, she decides the best revenge is a contractual romance with a college student who's eight years younger. Iconic behavior.

To everyone watching, Xiao Suian looks like nothing more than an adorable puppy. He's constantly calling her "Jiejie," follows her around with heart eyes, and acts like she'd hung the moon. It seems obvious she's the one holding all the cards.

Except... she's not.

Behind those puppy-dog eyes is a man who has been plotting for years. After Chen Xuyang sponsored his education, Xiao Suian didn't just admire her—he became completely obsessed. Determined to become worthy of her, he quietly built an empire in secret while also plotting revenge against his deadbeat father. So while Chen Xuyang thinks she's casually dating a lovesick college student, he's busy protecting her, dismantling his father's company piece by piece, and making sure no one gets in her way.

Once all the misunderstandings are finally cleared up, they stop dancing around their feelings and become a true power couple.

My only complaint? This drama has *a lot* happening. Between the revenge plot, secret identities, family drama, business battles, and romance, it occasionally felt like I needed a conspiracy board with red string just to keep up. Still, if you enjoy obsessive younger male leads, revenge served ice cold, and watching a cheating ex realize he fumbled the bag in spectacular fashion, this one delivers.

# 🎭 The Characters

# ❤️ Male Lead

Xiao Suian may have taken "protect your girl" just a *tiny* bit too seriously... but when he's in love, there's no such thing as half measures. Between the puppy-dog eyes and his fiercely protective streak, it's easy to see why Chen Xuyang fell for him. My only complaint? Whoever styled this man was determined to convince us he had shoulder pads hiding under every shirt. Thankfully, the suits came in clutch—because that man looked **fine** in one.

# 🌸 Female Lead

Chen Xuyang is the queen we all aspire to be—smart, filthy rich, powerful, and absolutely ruthless when she needs to be. Cross her once, and she'll cut you out of her life without a second thought. After being betrayed and robbed of her inheritance, she builds walls instead of bridges... and good luck to anyone trying to break them down.

# 💕 The Chemistry

At the start, poor Xiao Suian was as innocent as a newborn deer—he had no idea what to do with his hands, his lips, or... well, anything. Thankfully, Chen Xuyang was more than willing to give him a crash course. Once they found their rhythm, the chemistry was undeniable. And when she tried to convince everyone she'd moved on? Please. One look at her eyes gave the whole game away. The actress sold every ounce of longing without saying a word.

# 🎬 Favorite Scenes

Chen Xuyang was out for revenge, and her pathetic ex just wouldn't stay gone. So what does she do? She makes him sit, front row while Xiao Suian shamelessly devours every bit of her. The moment she threw up that middle finger, I was cheering. That's right, girl—go get your *didi*.

# 💡 What Worked

This drama is fully committed to Xiao Suian's obsession with Chen Xuyang—and I was here for it. But what really had me hooked was Chen Xuyang's confidence. She knew exactly what she wanted and went after it without caring what anyone thought. That's surprisingly rare in short dramas, and I absolutely ate it up.

# 🤔 What Didn't

This drama tried to juggle *everything* at once: a cheating ex, a pregnant green tea, endless scheming, secret rich families, hidden agendas, kidnappings, stabbings... and somehow we're also building a business empire? It was entertaining, but there was so much going on that it occasionally tripped over its own plot.

🏆 **Final Thought**s:
This is the kind of drama you throw on when you want to turn your brain off and enjoy the ride. The beginning had me hooked, the middle tested my patience, but the ending pulled me right back in and wrapped everything up with a satisfying, feel-good happily ever after.
