Which foundation should I try next? Trying to find my holy grail
I have aging skin. Mattifying products make me look older. When I don't wear make-up, my face never becomes oily or shiny.
I'm looking for something with light coverage, but high quality that looks beautiful all day. And very easy application is important. I prefer European brands but it's not a must.
I was using Laneige cushion before, but they changed it, and I can't test the new one. I also don't like the cushion packaging that much because it feels like a waste of product.
What I've tried so far:
- Chanel les Beiges Eau de Teint: looked good at first, although the coverage might be a bit too sheer. After a couple of hours, it became VERY shiny. Underneath I was wearing a light sunscreen, no moisturizer or primer.
- Dior Backstage Face & Body: too much coverage, and application was not that easy. It did last long and didn't become too shiny.
- Sisley Phyto Teint Nude: looked beautiful after application, but became too shiny after 3 hours. I had to use blotting paper and after that it didn't look as good as before. I didn't wear sunscreen underneath as I was home all day.
- Essence Skin tint: didn't look good, it sat on top of my skin and made my pores more visible, no matter what application I tried.
- Kiko Milano: couldn't find a good colour match on any of their foundations.
