Hey r/UXDesign,

For the past year and a half, I've been designing and building Wemixo — a platform centered on non-linear, collaborative story creation. Instead of standard linear feeds, users can visually branch out stories, interactive poetry, and video chains into collective narrative trees.

**Here is how the core UX works across the 3 slides above:**

**Slide 1 (Extend Chain):** Browse sequential contributions step-by-step. Users can extend the narrative or suggest new directions.

**Slide 2 (Alternates):** View alternate branches stemming from any specific prompt or scene.

**Slide 3 (Completed Tab):** Once you earn the right to complete a branch that's yours (or stems from your post), tapping Complete moves that version cleanly into the Completed tab.

**I'd love your raw feedback on the UI/UX:**

\-Is the visual/information hierarchy between extending a chain vs. browsing alternates clear enough, or does it feel confusing at first glance?

\-How would you approach deep multi-branch navigation on mobile without overwhelming the user once a story gets several levels deep?

\-Bonus UI question: On Slide 2, you'll notice a Similarity: 53% tag. We use this to highlight overlapping themes between alternate branches. Does showing this metric add value, or does it feel like visual clutter?

I'd genuinely rather hear brutally honest criticism now than after launch — don't hold back!

I built an app for branching collaborative media (text + media chains). How does this 3-step UX flow feel?
