Is it a sane decision to buy a used xperia 1 VI as of today? (at 800USD)

I am in love with the xperias but I never got the chance to buy one because I could never afford them and they were never available in my country. I was looking to buy a new phone and I came over an ad of a used (almost new) Xperia 1 VI. Now I know at 800USD today its a bad deal but the thing is that in my country the base pixel 10 costs more than 1000USD, so does the samsung and the iPhones are just bizarrely pricey. Is Xperia 1 VI comparable to base pixel 10 or samsung s25? One drawback is that its software support ends on the next android update which is 17 I guess. Should I even consider it?
