France Schengen Business Visa from India. Appointment on Sept 1, Travel on Sept 12 with like 11 days gap. Is this too risky?

Hi everyone,

I’m applying for a French Schengen Business Visa from India.

Here are my dates:
Visa appointment: 1 September (earliest available)
Travel date: 12 September to 28th September

This is my first Schengen visa, and I’m a bit worried about the timeline. There are only 11 days between my appointment and my flight.

-Has anyone recently applied from India with a similar timeline?
-How long did it take to receive your passport after the appointment?
-Do you think 11 days is generally enough if all the documents are in order, or is this cutting it too close?
