[NY] Landlord Won’t Repair Stove

Two of the burners are out on my gas stove. When I asked my landlord for a repair, he told me to light the burners with matches instead. This feels pretty dangerous to me. (The kitchen is small and has no ventilation.)

Is this enough to claim he’s breaking the warrant of habitability and force a constructive eviction? (As in, claim he’s not providing a safe living environment and move out. I am not feeling confident he’ll provide additional repairs if I need them in the future and want to find a new place.)
