24h birthday getaway in Osijek

Hey everyone,

I'm planning a surprise birthday trip for my wife on 12 September to Osijek. We're driving down from Hungary and leaving our two small kids at home, so this is a rare 24-hour getaway just for the two of us. Neither of us has been to Osijek before, but we're bringing our bikes and staying at Hotel Osijek.

Since we only have a day, here is my rough plan so far:

• Arrive around 9 AM
• Bike to Kopački rit.
• Maybe do the boat tour while we're there?
• Lunch at Čingi Lingi Čarda.
• Head back to the hotel to check in and relax.
• Spend the evening biking around town, grabbing drinks, eating, and just people-watching.

I'd love to hear what locals think of this agenda. If you have any specific recommendations, I'd really appreciate it.
