Was the Roman Empire tolerant of different religions?
Hello, this is a question I have specifically asked it relates to how Rome associated with Christianity, on if Rome was religiously tolerant towards other religions that weren’t the Roman pantheon? Historically, Rome destroyed the temple of Jerusalem before and the Jews had 3 major revolts.
If they were otherwise tolerant of other religions, what made Christianity and Judaism unique in their persecutions?
