Question regarding Memories, Dreams and Reflections

In chapter 10, Visions, he states clearly about his dream of floating above space, observing earth, seeing a temple and a figure, a giant block of stone (black granite), etc. He also said he had it when he was closest to death.

Thing is, I've had this exact dream before and I had it before I read his book or did any dream analysis, and woke up to a fit violently choking on my spit while being unable to breathe, and it was nearly 5 minutes before I could breathe properly again. The difference is, while the doctor was the one who quite literally pulled Jung back down to Earth, for me, it was this thought that my mother was waiting for me on Earth, and to leave now would be a great injustice to her.

I was wondering if anyone aware of what this dream means archetypically? Has anyone else had this exact dream before? If yes, what feeling did it inspire in you?I've always thought that this dream was meant to be somewhat of a “course correction” with regards to my life. I'm from India, if that helps. I went to a school which had mandatory prayers at the temple.
