Early Facebook “wall” was such an insane and bizarre concept tbh

For those you who remember the early days of Facebook had the wall where you could post and talk to your friends. Anyone else could do the same and eavesdrop on your sometimes private convos.

In the early days there wasn’t even the chat feature and you’d make plans to meetup, discuss tv shows music whatever or just ask “hey what’s up” on the wall. Of course any random friend could also see what’s up. You could also post what you’re eating or if stuck in the toilet if you wanted to

Technically you can still do this but it’s not how people use it anymore. Anyway it’s bizarre to me that people willingly over shared so much publicly back then. It’s just hilarious this was such an accepted means of communication
