is my fish gonna be ok?

got home after a very long vacation, saw that my parents havent changed my fish's water in a long while so decided to do it myself. boiled water in the kettle as usual and decided to wait an hour for it to cool off then put him in a new cup with fresh water with the cooled off boiled water but. for some reason the water was still hot and i didn't notice and the second i put him in he started rushing around in it and i put him back into the cooler water in the bowl(i don't have access to a proper tank, i live in the mountains) he calmed down but a little too much? he's barely moving now, lying sideways and moving his fi
