What is this fresh h3ll is the roadblock to redeeming an Amazon gift card?

NOW instead of "gift cards "out of stock" -- they're not real cards, so.... NOW I'm getting this BS: "On the go? You're previewing a catalog item that you're not eligible to redeem due to region or other restrictions." I'm on the same computer or cell I've always used. In my home. I didn't move. I'm not traveling. What gives???
