Can I get a free extension?

My deadline is coming up on August 6th and I have the option to purchase an extension for $125 but can’t afford it rn. I only have an essay and a few electives to do so I don’t need an entire 6 months. Is it possible to get a free smaller extension of like a couple weeks maybe?
