Is hair and haircutting content becoming the new feet pics?

I’ve noticed a surprising amount of hair focused content popping up lately not just people admiring long hair, but haircuts, head shaving, selling cut hair and filming the whole process.

I'm pretty sure some Harry Potter star started an OFs based on this content, but there's been lots on Reddit recently IMo. In this thread one person says she made good money livestreaming a head shave and then earned even more by selling the recording afterwards

Then this one too mentions it

So, is hair becoming the next widely recognised fetish niche or has it always been popular and I’m only just noticing it?

For anyone who is into it or has made this sort of content is the appeal the hair itself, watching it being cut, the transformation, the control aspect, or something else?
