Who was the better driver back in the day, Mario Andretti or Foyt?

While AJ has more Indy 500 wins then the entire Andretti family combined, there is more to racing then just the indy500, I know both men won the Daytona 500, also Mario has won the F1 world championship, however AJ I don’t believe ever chased f1 so I’m not sure if that’s a fair comparison.
