Matchbox-Scene

in season 8 episode 12, Sal and Cam are on a boat and Sal wants to set the boat on fire using matches. Cam then blows out one match, Sal lights another match, Cam blows out the match etc. Isn't there a similar scene on modern family?? Or on a similar show? When someone blows out the matches to prevent sb setting a fire? I can not wrap my head around it.
