FAQ Mega thread seems outdated? Have some questions about learning Kat with 50k mastery under my belt as someone who usually plays CS intensive hyper-scaling champs

I usually play vlad cassio or zoe. On vlad and cassio especially CS is important and the goal is to just scale hard. Not that CS isn't important on Kat, but from the few guides I've watched on her it seems her goal is more to go for skirmishes and fights and it's okay if she doesn't have great CS, unlike vlad or cassio. So it's a drastically different playstyle for me to get used to where I'm supposed to now be roaming and aggressive early rather than sitting in lane making sure I get my 8-10 CS per minute.

Is this champ viable against tanks? Again, I've watched some guides and understand her combos, but it feels like the damage isn't all that great unless I get fed on multiple kills early. If she's viable against tankier teams, what should her build look like?

I've put in like 50k mastery on Kat at this point and still just feel like I suck with her. I get that her strength is to look for when CC has been used and then go in afterwards, but what if the enemy team just has a lot of CC? Is she not viable into those comps?

Any tips appreciated. I'm coming here wanting to learn so I hope I don't get people talking to me like I'm an idiot for doing so, which in my experience the league community is known for. I wanted to add this champ to my pool but after 50k mastery and still sucking compared to the other champs I play, it's getting more difficult for me to consider this journey worth it.
