Discover how Higgsfield made the feature-length Al film Hell Grind in just 14 days and with a $500K budget. The team went trom training foundation models to serving inference at billions of tokens per day. Would you have guessed it was made by Al?
Watch this behind-the-scenes story and see what Al makes possible today.

Launched independently by Higgsfield during the Cannes Marché du Film in 2026, Hell Grind is a 95-minute feature film made on the Higgsfield Al platform by a team of 15, on a $500K budget. To meet the demanding timeframe, the small team reinvented the creative process around modern Al tooling. In so doing, they reduced the required budget for a film of their length 100x compared to traditional movie workflows while retaining astounding quality and delivering the film with unprecedented speed.

Higgsfield's Soul Cinema image model and Cinema Studio gave the team cinematic control over Al-generated video, producing 300-500 variations per scene, with video prompts running
3,000-4,000 words long. For Higgsfield, Hell Grind is a showcase to creators around the world that their platform, with the right direction, can sustain character consistency, world coherence, and narrative arc across a complete feature. As part of their vision to empower creators, Hell Grind will soon become open source.

Making Hell Grind demanded a full-stack Al cloud that offered full economic control, spinning up hundreds of NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs for batch generation overnight, and scaling them down when they weren't required. Nebius provided a custom configuration that delivered a 20%+ performance improvement for Higgsfield's inference workloads, improving their inference economics. Higgsfield currently processes around 30 billion tokens per day through Nebius.
