Hi everyone,

Today we’re releasing **Below, Rusted Gods**, a horror game developed and self-published by ourselves, a two-person team called From South Games.

We’ve been working on it for approximately two years as a side project while both maintaining full-time jobs. We had no publisher and handled the development, production, marketing, Steam release, and everything around the game ourselves.

Going into launch, the game has reached:

* More than **60,000 Steam wishlists**
* **Steam Deck Verified** status
* A fully self-published release

**Below, Rusted Gods** puts the player in the role of a remote Operator supporting an expedition deep underground. Instead of joining the squad directly, you guide them through radio communications, radar, surveillance systems, medical instruments, and incomplete information.

We’re happy to answer questions about any part of the process, including:

* Developing a game alongside full-time jobs
* Organizing work in a two-person team
* Building wishlists and preparing for launch
* Self-publishing without an external publisher
* Steam Deck verification
* The technical or creative development of the game

We’ll also share more detailed launch data once we have enough information for it to be useful to other developers.
