Verizon has sent me two routers - what should I do?

I’ve been trying to set up Verizon because my new landlord requires it as part of my lease. I’ve spent all week going back and forth with the fraud department trying to prove I am who I am. I went to the store and the employee there pushed my account through, but told me Verizon wouldn’t send the router I ordered on Sunday to the address that I’m moving to because it’s across the country and it “looks scammy.” He gave me one to mail to myself. Problem solved, right?

Wrong. They shipped the first router to my new address yesterday. Now I have two, I guess. The one I got in store is showing up on my account, the one I ordered via phone is not. I don’t know what’s happening now. Right now, I just want to cancel everything and find a new place to live where I don’t have to use Verizon.

I’ll go back to the store, I guess, but does anyone know what to do about this mess? I don’t want to pay for internet twice, and I sure as hell don’t want to pay to ship a router that’s already at my apartment…
