ECA's at PNEC

Soooo I can't really join IBA or GIKI because of the fees and especially GIKI because of wahan rehne ka kharcha. I thought maybe I can create a similar campus life and social network at PNEC by doing ECA's. Now one thing I know is PNEC teams are more serious, technical and do actual work while I have only volunteered in college fests etc. So can I get into a team or would I get rejected, considering I have zero technical skills?
