Is my Sony A6000 worth keeping or should I upgrade?

Hi everyone! Looking for some advice!
I am a very amateur photographer- use my camera mostly for travel and gig shoots for a small band! (Mostly pub/ small music venue settings)
Currently I have a Sony A6000 with the standard kit lens.
I have been looking into buying the 50mm f/1.8 for shooting in darker settings but I’m not sure if it’s worth it for all I use it for?
This is also my first mirrorless camera and I am still navigating settings etc! Any tips also welcome!

I would love some advice on whether I should trade it for a different camera or go ahead with buying another lens? Even some advice on what lenses could be a better choice/ alternative?
