Locked vehicle 1st person. Thoughts?

I am not an aircraft player or even really a tank player, outside of the gun turret. I saw a post in another group talking about what if vehicles were locked in 1st person. Imagine being able to look out windows left and right, but no 3rd person view.

As an infantry player I am for it. I can't tell how many times Ive been hiding next to a tank or vehicle and I know they spotted me only because of 3rd person. I know a lot of other games are like that, but BF has had 3rd person for so long; I feel like the community would implode if they changed it. Tanks I think would be okay, it's the pilots I feel would be affected the most.

What are your thoughts on it, both good, the bad, and the ugly?
