Gameday as a foreigner (Oct 10)

Canadian coming to the game on October 10th vs St Mirren...never been to a Scottish football match...are there any gameday musts I should try and do? Am I supposed to spit on the Heart of Midlothian in front of St Giles? Any stadium musts? food musts?
