Boarding NYC Penn station with 3 year old & 5 month old.

Hello,

My husband and I will be taking our kids to Boston from NYC and we've never taken Amtrak as a family. Any tips for boarding the 8:45am train on a Friday at Penn? We'll have a double stroller (that is collapsible) and a tall luggage.

We plan to arrive 45 minutes early to find our way and board right when the train arrives. Is it realistic to find seating for four with a table at the front or back of the train? Do they allow families to board early? I've read there are no changing tables in the bathrooms. Any information or tips from other families would be super helpful so we can plan accordingly.
