Live Studio Audience?

Hi everyone! I am very new to CreepCast, only started listening a few months ago! I have been listening to many of the oldest episodes first since I wanted to catch up with lore before jumping into anything new.

I listened to their newest episode today and found myself super confused. Do they now have a live studio audience for their new episodes? I am very very new and I don’t want to ruffle any feathers but I really did not enjoy that format. I felt like the story kept getting interjected/interrupted by random people with poor mic quality that was hard to hear at times. The episode felt more derailed than usual and I think they'd get two sentences in before someone had to go on a tangent.

Is this a normal format for the newer episodes? Does anyone enjoy this format? If you do, I'd love to know why so I can try to find the a different perspective and hopefully grow to like it. I just felt lost and confused and a little annoyed.
