Moving to Rome
Hi everyone!
My girlfriend and I are planning to move to Rome this autumn (October/November).
My girlfriend will be studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, and I’m looking for a full-time job (warehouse, delivery, logistics, carpentry, hospitality or any entry-level position).
We’re also looking for an apartment. Our priorities are:
- safe neighborhood,
- reasonable rent,
- good public transport,
- maximum 40 minutes to the Academy of Fine Arts.
We’ve been considering areas such as San Lorenzo, Pigneto, Garbatella, Ostiense, Appio Latino, Tuscolano, Monte Sacro and Trieste. Do you think these are good choices, or would you recommend other neighborhoods?
If you know of any apartments, job opportunities, or have any advice for people moving to Rome, we’d really appreciate your help.
Thank you!
