Just graduated with my Master's and scored an interview for a fully funded PhD position! What should I expect?
Hi everyone, I just found this subreddit and could use some advice!
I recently graduated with my Master's and applied for a fully funded PhD position. The day after I applied, I received an email from the professor asking me to come in for an interview once he returns from vacation. He also asked me to prepare a short 10-minute presentation on my Master's thesis.
Aside from the presentation, what else can I typically expect from a PhD interview for a funded position? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
