Am I allowed to be Quietly hopefully?

Like I disagree with Burhnam on a lot but I feel mildly hopeful that we have turned a corner away from the hate filled politics and I can have a tiny bit of hope things will get better. I'm trans so not any time soon but it feels more weathering the storm rather then prolonging the inevitable
