Hand Review
This hand was played at 2.5/5 online poker, I play in a small circle where everyone knows each other’s playstyles well.
I'm in the BB with K♠Q♠ 4 handed
My stack is 300 BB, BTN has 150BB, CO has 80BB
Preflop: CO raises to $12.50, BTN 3-bets to $36.87, SB folds, I call in the BB, CO calls as well. Three-way to the flop, pot $113.11.
Flop ($113.11): 10♣ Q♥ 2♥
Checks to BTN, who bets $84.83. I call, CO calls behind. Pot $367.60.
Turn ($367.60): Q♦ (giving me trips)
I check, CO checks, BTN bets $121.30. I min raised to $242.60.
I did this because after the Q came I thought the Button’s range was mostly flush draws, so I thought if I make the min raise they will call with the pot odds and if the river bricks I can scoop the pot. Another thought here was that the BTN might have AQ, but I thought if he has AQ he has AQ and there's not much I can do about it.
CO calls all-in for $130.96. BTN comes back over the top, all-in for $527.77. I made the call.
River: 3♣ (no help either way)
Result: BTN tables 10 10, with a boat. CO had 8♥6♥ missing their draws.
BTN scoops a $1,554.10 pot.
I’m wondering how I can play the hand better?
