WTF problem with floyd rose ???

DISCUSSION

It seems that, from cheap to expensive guitars equipped with a Floyd Rose (FR), tuning problems are always present.

In my experience, a 2-point tremolo offers better tuning stability than a Floyd Rose. A Gibson-style fixed bridge is still the gold standard for tuning stability, in my opinion, but the downside is that it has no tremolo system, which is unfortunate.

Even with a locking nut and locking bridge, Floyd Rose systems can still go out of tune.

What alternatives to the Floyd Rose are available? I want to avoid FR-equipped guitars like the plague.

For casual players, a Floyd Rose is fine, but when it comes to studio recording, it can become a nightmare for music producers and session musicians.

I want a guitar that is an alternative to a Floyd Rose but can still perform repeated dive bombs without the constant anxiety of tuning issues.
