Application Status: Application Rejection

I opened the UG admissions portal for Khalifa University and saw that my status changed from "Pending Final Admission Decision" to "Application Rejection". Am I supposed to get an email too or no? Should I send them an email for conformation since a lot of students got rejected due to some technical glitch before?
