It worked well for a month and then stopped?
I started taking it in May and had really horrible side effects of the severe anxiety, dread, and paranoia after having been on 50 mg for longer than I should have, but when I started taking 100 mg, I pretty quickly felt much better and I was genuinely in a good mood most of the time, felt more creative, more easy going, and just overall more cheerful for about a month. It was distinct enough that I’m sure the medication was responsible for it especially since my depression was pretty bad last spring.
However, last week was kind of tumultuous so at first I just thought I was stressed, but by Friday, it was clear that I was just feeling depressed again. It’s just gotten worse and worse by the day, as well as my anxiety. Two week ago I was feeling productive, motivated, going to the gym most days, doing a lot of writing, and feeling relatively happy in general. This week I’ve just been feeling awful. I’ve barely done anything, I just feel extremely hopeless and unmotivated, very tired, and bad about myself, in addition to increased anxiety.
I know 100 mg is typically lower than what most people take, but I’m very scared of side effects, I’ve read so many comments about cognitive decline and it’s already made my sleep quality worse. I’m also taking 600 mg of lithium and klonopin or xanax as needed
