Will I likely be executed? Yes!
Will it be worth it? Yes!
((We’re talking life or death, genocide, even possible extinction!))

**PLAN A:**
If I was alive & in the North during the latter events of season 6, I’m making my way to Oldtown w/enough of a military force that I could safely enter the Citadel to treat with the Maestors; hopefully / preferably in a nonviolent manner, but (based on the nature of the visit) violence is on the table if “The Defender of the Citadel” decides to do their duty.

Once ALL Maestors are gathered together & I’m granted audience, I’m making a pronouncement for all to hear. . .regarding the White Walkers (so no excuses can be claimed):
their existence
our encounters with them thusfar (beginning with the Nights Watch deserter that Ned beheaded all the way through the Wildlings attack on the Wall with 100,000 enemies who despise each other banding together all the way through the massacre at Hardhome)
what can & what can’t harm them
what we found at the Fist of the 1st men
all the correspondence that was sent to the Citadel AND King’s Landing pleading for support
etc.

After I lay out how many people would potentially be alive today if our words were heeded, I’m killing Archmaestor Ebrose & half the remaining members of the Conclave (10 of the remaining 20); right there in front of everyone. Immediately, the remaining members of the Conclave would be forced to make new appointments of Archmaestors to refill their Council. With the appointments done, the new members outnumbering the old 11-10 & everyone aware of precisely what is at stake: I command them to send ravens to every corner of Westeros, warning everyone of the White Walkers, sharing the info I just gave them & soliciting assistance (manpower, resources, etc) to the North (Winterfell / the Wall). Lastly, (as Samwell encouraged), they’d be commanded to scour every manuscript they can possibly find (& send word to every other Maestor throughout Westeros to do the same) in search of ANYTHING that may be useful to us in surviving the Long Night.

**PLAN B:**
If I was alive & in the North during the events of season 8: Once the Long Night is over, I’m heading to Oldtown & killing the entire Conclave of Archmaestors for leaving us hanging. (Yes, I would be that “petty”.) Valar Morghulis, b-tch!

***((P.S. There is NO WAY I’m endorsing that expedition beyond-the-Wall to retrieve a wight, but if it happened - take it to Oldtown & the Maestors and show it to every major House on the way down to King’s Landing! Shoot, I’d show every person we passed: willing to fight? Head North! Too weak/scared to fight? Head South!))***

Apologies, guys. . .but somebody(s) gotta go!
