Membrane sweep

I’m 38w2d today and have my OB appt. At my 37 week appt, they told me I can get my membrane sweeped 38 weeks+. I got mine sweeped with my first and it did absolutely nothing. I ended up having to get induced. But I figured since my body knows what it’s doing now that hopefully it’ll work? Maybe. Has it worked for anyone else for their 2nd babies? I’m also 1cm, 50% effaced from my last week appt as well
