WISC-III
I'm not diagnosed with NVLD, but it was brought up after a WISC-III assessment in my childhood. I don't remember much of it, but while I aced some of the verbal tests, I performed relatively poorly on many of the performance tests. There was no matrix test, but I was told that I aced it when I took one separately at a later date. I also came out on top when I took a matrix in my class.
I don't know what to make of this. Does this single non-verbal strength completely rule out NVLD? My handwriting is pretty abysmal and the bane of my prior academic endeavors, so I wonder if my measured deficiencies reflect something more specific about holding objects and coordinating them.
