Has Ikeda ever suffered? I mean for real.

I’ve read about saints and apostles who were martyred for their Christian faith and some endured genuinely tragic lives.

Given SGI own teaching that ABSOLUTE happiness comes through transforming great suffering into joy, it strikes me that the late Ikeda never really had to face suffering for his beliefs in the same way.

On the contrary, some SGI members went through hell and back, unlike you-know-who.
