Hey folks

A couple of months ago I discovered the LG2. I was absolutely blown away at the capability of such a device.

I bought a LG2 Z2. I was fairly impressed but fairly shocked at how unresponsive the OS is and how buggy windows can be on it. Games can run well, sometimes I’d just rather get a console or laptop.

Within the first 7 days, I noticed this horrific texture on dark shades like greys - I thought I’d really messed something up with HDR. Unfortunately not, this is a known issue with the OLED panels that Lenovo chose.

This office carpet texture accompanied with the right trigger sounding incredibly plastic-y, I decided that this simply wasn’t good enough. I contacted Lenovo and within 24hrs, they issued me a credit note to present to the retailer for a full refund or replacement.
The retailer only had one unit in one model across the entire country - the Z2E.

For only an additional $150, they sent one out to me (I felt like I was getting an absolute steal here at only $1700 aud for a Z2E).

Right out of the box, the power button is very uneven, I can catch my nail on one side, while my finger sinks into the other side of the circle.
The left bumper button has about 10% tactile feedback as the right and works about 50% of the time.
This model had significantly worse screen mura - see photos attached, taken with phone 16 plus.

I again contacted Lenovo and they issued me a full DOA (dead on arrival) credit note, providing the retailer with effectively a blank cheque to rectify the issue.

The retailer has requested a shipment directly from Lenovo, as there are still none in stock.

I’m wondering, has anybody gotten a perfect, fully as intended working order unit? Is this just what to expect or have I just gotten extremely unlucky in this process?
