Does it actually work for you?

I'll be undergoing a hysterectomy soon to help hopefully with the pain I've been having lately and my Dr has me on gabapentin and I feel like it doesn't do anything for me. I've doubled up on my dosing (per my dr) and I still kinda don't feel a difference. Does anyone else have the same issue on this?
