Any solutions/updates for Mac users?

I'm sure the devs are working on it but I don't understand why the engine would be rolled out until they were able to maintain compatibility for all current players. Can't do any form of remote play because Vanguard blocks it. iOS PBE slots are highly limited and seem to already be gone. Honestly an incredibly frustrating experience as a player and was wondering if anyone had come up with any solution that didn't involve dropping 500 on a new laptop just to keep playing a free game.
