Anyone else hate being grouped with couples?

I know this sounds harsh, but I genuinely hate ending up in a 3-person team where the other two are dating.

No matter how nice they are, they naturally stick together. They make decisions together, have inside jokes, and you're just... there. You end up feeling like an outsider in your own team.

I'm not saying every couple does this intentionally, but it's happened often enough that I've started dreading being grouped with committed people.

Is this a common experience, or have I just been unlucky?
