I think I broke my save file

I'm playing dare mode and I have the dare "always pick the first plan while drafting in the Entrance Hall," as well as "draft the most expensive floor plan whenever you have 3 or more gems".

Today I started the current day with 4 gems, which causes these two dares to conflict if I draw a room that requires gems. Also I have the dare to draft six colors of rooms each day, so I can't call it a day early and skip to the next day without the gems. I've retried at least 10 times and keep failing. Should I just start a new game?
