Need a little guidance

We are a small family of three looking for a suv. We have a Toyota Corolla currently and that is just too small for our needs. We are right about the 17k price point and these are the vehicles I’ve been seeing: Volkswagen Tiguan and Taos and then the Hyundai venue. We have seen a lot of Nissans as well. Anyone have any recommendations?
