Should I attend my university recognition ceremony?
My university is organizing a recognition ceremony for graduates. It's not an official diploma graduation, just a recognition ceremony where they'll hand out certificates of recognition, give speeches, have music, a cocktail, and take photos.
I'm honestly not sure if I should go. I don't have many friends from university, if i went I'll just go with my sister
And the thing is next week I'm already planning to go to the beach for a picnic with my friend, and we were going to take some graduation pictures there with my graduation gown. So I'm wondering if that's enough and if I should just skip the university ceremony.
Part of me thinks I might regret not going since I worked hard to finish my master's degree. Another part of me feels like it's not worth it because it's not the actual diploma ceremony and all i care abt is taking couple of pics with the graduation suit which I'll go
If you were in my situation, would you go? Do you think i will regret not going?
